It should be fast now.
Nope >..< latest releases still seem to be slow on actually picking up the downloads (again it's only the latest releases currently atm, any other release be it beta or full release is still fast) (I waited 10+ minutes each trying both 32bit and 64bit urls to see if they would even start downloading and they never even connected to pick up the downloads). Hopefully things are better later.

The CloudFlare HK cdn which used by us is quite unstable in recent days.
We have not yet figured out the issue.
Seems there is something interfered with the communication between HK cdn and our original server, causing it is quite slow to finish cache refreshing.

Currently, version 2.7.4.52 (for Windows) is installed on a 64-bit installation, and the object still does not see the update.
Finally updated

figured it was probably cloudflare, there have been times (like right now) where if I go to the static links a whole section (or the whole thing) of the static pages would be completely down or something and causing links to end up with a cloudflare error 520.

Please try upgrading "Widevine Content Decryption Module" in chrome://components/
And then clear "Media licenses" in "Clear browsing data" dialog.
