Video Auto Start Issue
#21
Hi All,

Now (after version 66 of the Chromium), the following setting does not work for all Chromium-based web browsers to prevent the automatic start of videos:

"chrome://flags > Autoplay policy > Document user activation is required"

(This setting still works only in Vivaldi browser; but this time, Vivaldi has own unique drawbacks; moreover, the last Vivaldi (1.15.1147.55) is still based on Chromium 65)

The exact solution: the extension "YouTube No Buffer (Stop Auto-playing)" definitely solves this problem. In addition, it prevents the automatic start of the next videos too. You need to make the following setting for this:

- Click on the icon of the extension and open the "Options" window;

- Disable (unselect) options for "Allow JavaScript access for embedded YouTube players" and "Release no-buffer (start playing) when tab gets focus"!

- Select other options and press "Save"  button!
