I still can't understand why. Maybe it's caused by different fonts, even eyes, the author and me have black eyes....Maybe it's why Google made the text grey and blurry...

But…why do they want this new gamma? They built this fork for nothing but the blurry text fix. New gamma value came from them.

How about trying this "Advanced Chrome" and post a screenshot? I suggest Cent finding a way to fix it if they are different. Otherwise, add a default option.

Version 3.4.3.39 work fine for me with turned off DirectWrite and HW acceleration without --no-sandbox flag.
Version 3.5.3.34 and above have GDI rendering problem.

В версии 3.4.3.39 у меня нет проблем при работе с отключенными DirectWrite и аппаратным ускорением даже без использования ключа --no-sandbox.
Начиная с версии 3.5.3.34 имеет место баг с рендером шрифтов в режиме GDI.

Unfortunately we can't reproduce the issue on that URL.
Here tr renders normally with DW disabled.
I need more users to test it.

I have the same issue with text becomes invisible (DW disabled). It happens in text editing forms on tweetdeck and medium. Also on reddit and youtube. After I change tabs it becomes visible again (although i'm not sure what helps exactly). This is on 3.7.2.33.
