Centbrowser user statistics opt-out
#1
Centbrowser makes a connection to https://www.centbrowser.com/user_statistics.php at startup. What info do you guys collect? Please add option to opt-out.

Don't worry, nothing is collected.
This is only for counting user amount.
All parameters go after "user_statistics.php"(No forms or POST data is sent), you should see them in your firewall or Fiddler.
Generally it looks like this:
https://www.centbrowser.com//user_statis...on=startup
The "client" parameter is client metrics id, which is randomly generated by Chromium itself and used by crash report service.

I would trust you if this project was on github or something. The idea of pinging your server every time I start Cent is not something I like to tell. Can you guys add an option to just count users only when the browser is updated?

Does it make any difference counting while update or startup?
No offense, if you don't trust us, you shouldn't use this browser.
There are plenty of browsers you can choose.

Why you do answer like this?
Just make it hard to user off, but possible  Wink

Also browser connect on start and when you open extensions tab to:
https://clients1.google.com/tbproxy/af/q...t=Chromium
https://clients1.google.com/
pm/ssl/clients1.google.com:443

Can you make option to disable it?
