Purge memory

I see the otion in CB settings that I can set purge memory intervals. I currently have it disabled. Should I have this enabled? I have 16 gb ram and seldom use multiple programs simountaneously, and never go out of ram. will this feaure be any benefical for me? and what is the prefered interval time? 10 min? 30 min?

This function saves memory no more than 20%.
If you want to test Chromium memory saver feature, you can try enabling this flag: chrome://flags/#automatic-tab-discarding
We saw it still has bugs in some cases, so we didn't enable it by default.
