[Caused by Kaspersky ] Two finger touchpad scrolling stops working form time to time
#1
Hi,

I am having an issue with two-finger touchpad scrolling in web pages.

The touchpad scrolling stops working after using CB a while (like for 0.5 to 1 hour). While the touchpad scrolling not working, the mouse wheel scrolling still works fine.
Restarting CB will solve the problem, temporarily. After a while, the touchpad scrolling will stop working again.

EDIT: In stock Chrome, it is working fine. Stock Chrome is also affected.

No extension for scrolling tweaks, like Smooth Scrolling, is used.

OS: Windows 10 1607 64-bit (Fresh install)
CB: Version 2.4.2.19
Hardware: Dell XPS 15 9550 with precision touchpad

EDIT:

Not only the touchpad scrolling, but also the pinch-to-zoom gesture has the problem.

EDIT 2:

It seems to be caused by Kaspersky security software.

Thanks very much for your feedback and update.
Seems it is a bug of Windows 10, and they are waiting for RedStone2 to fix it.
Have you tried enabling chrome://flags/#touch-events?

Haven't got a chance to try that. I uninstalled Kaspersky a few hours ago.

Thank you for you info though.

Sorry to hear that, but is it necessary to uninstall KIS?
Maybe exiting it can also avoid this issue(you can scan downloaded files manually).

I was using Kaspersky for a trial. Except for the Chrome scrolling issue, it also caused noticeable battery drain and performance degradation. So...
