As a user with a lot of opened tabs, I like the tab option in Cent Browser to customize the "Minimum tab width".

With other Chromium based browsers that don't have the option to customize the tab width in the settings, there's the option to arrange it by entering chrome://flags in the address bar, continued by finding Tab Scrolling. At Tab Scrolling you choose the tab shrink option you like. Your change will take effect the next time you relaunch your browser.

I want to have the download functionality of CentBrowser.

I want the popup that lets me choose between my favorite folders.

I want the popup that shows the file name I can edit.

I want the popup that shows the exact link from which the file is being downloaded.

I want to display all the information in the dropdown menu, such as how much I've downloaded, the transfer speed, and the remaining time.

I don't think you understand that very well. I really hope that the developer will appoint someone who will clean up all your messages that go beyond the Cent discussion. Me, though, I live in a language area that uses kanji characters.

Вряд ли уже стоит чего-то ждать. Год без обновлений — это слишком долго. За это время многое изменилось, и для браузера это критично.

CentBrowser основан на Chromium, а Chromium обновляется каждые 4 недели. За год выходит примерно 12 стабильных версий, в каждой из которых:

• закрываются уязвимости, включая критические (а их немало);
  
• улучшается производительность движка и JavaScript;
  
• внедряются или изменяются веб-стандарты, API и функции, необходимые для работы современных сайтов;
  
• устаревают старые технологии, которые удаляются из Chromium — и это тоже важно.
  

Если браузер не обновляется, это значит:

• он уязвим для атак через веб-страницы;
  
• некоторые сайты начинают глючить или тормозить, потому что используют новые технологии, которые старый Chromium не поддерживает;
  
• расширения, перешедшие на Manifest V3, перестают работать — а переход на Manifest V3 уже идёт полным ходом;
  
• многие разработчики сайтов и сервисов больше не тестируют свои проекты на старых версиях браузеров — и это приводит к неожиданным проблемам (это я как веб-разработчик утверждаю).
  

Да, CentBrowser удобен и я его использую параллельно с другими браузерами, потому что есть мультилогинные вкладки, удобно тестировать сайты из разных аккаунтов с различными правами доступа. Но этот браузер по всей видимости поддерживал один человек, а не команда. Очевидно, что либо интерес к проекту у автора пропал, либо он просто не справляется. Это нормально — жизнь меняется. Но нам, пользователям, важно понимать риски и ориентироваться на актуальные решения.

CentBrowser в текущем состоянии — это, по сути, браузер-ретро. Его уже нельзя (и даже может быть опасно) использовать как основной на постоянной основе. Разве что как эксперимент или из ностальгии.

Для тех, кто в бронепоезде, специально повторю — патчей безопасности не было уже год, браузер не только сильно устарел по рендерингу страниц, отстал от дополнений, но и опасен для использования, потому что это потенциальная мишень для вредоносных скриптов на нехороших сайтах.

Браузер по факту умер без обновлений, тут объявлять ничего не надо.

I've used Maxthon back in year 2012-2014, then it became outdated and chromium thrived so I switched to Cent,
Today, Maxthon is the only browser that can replace cent (for me), So Thanks for the reminder.
