When I load a page with a video and click the Play button nothing happens.
If I then just reload the page the video plays OK when clicking the Play button.
This doesn't happen in Opera, Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Edge nor Vivaldi.
Example page is:

It's because adblocker. Try to disable all of them. Or use Incognito window.

Which adblocker?
I don't have any adblocker extensions.
And why should it work just by reloading the page?

It works well here.
Please check your extensions.

I have only 4 extensions (which are also in my other browsers).
DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials
Google Translate
Roboform Password Manager
Web developer.
I've been doing some testing and it looks like it only fails to start the video after Cent is initially loaded.
The video works thereafter without a page reload.
It's no big deal since it only needs one page reload.
And when a different video is loaded then that too needs a page reload.

This is due to a bug in the browser that causes "gpu acceleration" functions to fail when playing video.
If you see chrome://gpu, the features are disabled.
Like you, I did not encounter such a problem in other browsers
