That's the version that doesn't work.
Or rather the extension buttons are not displayed.

Enhancer for YouTube does not work

Quote:General instructions are already available on this forum.
Now step by step:
1. Install the CRX Extractor/Downloader extension -- https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail...obmljda?hl
2. Moving on to the Enhancer for YouTube ™ extension - https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail...eldkhle?hl
3. On the extension page, click on the CRX Extractor/Downloader icon and select Download as ZIP
4. Unpack the downloaded archive into a folder, open it and then edit the file manifest.json, we look for the string "minimum_chrome_version" in it and edit it for the Cent Browser version, we get this - "minimum_chrome_version": "118.0.0.0",
5. In the browser, go to Extension Management (Developer mode must be activated), click the Download unpacked extension button and point to the unpacked folder with the extension
6. Enjoy

Bug
Hello! I am experiencing a significant issue with Cent Browser on my machine. After using the browser for a while, it starts consuming 100% of my CPU resources, specifically on an Intel Core i7 processor. This issue severely impacts my system's performance and usability.
I have tried the following troubleshooting steps without success:
  • Disabling extensions
  • Clearing cache and cookies
  • Updating to the latest version of Cent Browser
  • Scanning for malware
Despite these efforts, the problem persists. I understand that Cent Browser is based on the Chromium engine and is developed by a small team. I appreciate the work you are doing and hope you can provide some guidance on how to resolve this issue.
Has anyone else experienced similar problems? Are there any known fixes or settings adjustments that can help mitigate this high CPU usage?

Maybe your profile data is corrupted.
Have you tried safe mode?

Try safe mode, and have you ever changed chrome://flags/#smooth-scrolling?
And have you changed your mouse settings?

Never had such an issue. Press Shift+Esc and check what process starts consuming cpu. There are also different tools to check the process threads https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysint...s-explorer or https://systeminformer.sourceforge.io
