I hope they're still workin on it!
I also hope they find and include a way to circumvent the Edge Start search protocol!

Disabling DirectWrite is no longer a 'must' feature. With less dependence on DirectWrite disabling, you will have a wider choice of more updated browsers.

I'm gonna insist on GDI font rendering. These extensions don't provide the desired results for me. The whole issue is more pertinent for those of us who use older monitors (I'm still using a 5:4 :4HP Compaq LA1951g 19'' monitor from 2009).

Well, in that case you will have to trade off by using Cent which is based on kernel 86.

IT NEEDS TO BE SAID !

The developer has not posted anything to the forum since August 13, 2021, over three months.
The last beta was November 5, 2020,  over a year
The last stable release was January 6, 2021, eleven months ago.

Users have gone about a year with no update. Current chrome version is 96 , Cent is based on chrome 86, ten versions behind. Every Cent user has had it with this ! (What is left of them)

There has been some forum chatter about a new release in November 2021 that did “NOT” happen.

The developer is either unable or unwilling to come clean with users as to the status of Cent.

Dear Developer: What is the problem ?   If the project is over just say so.   Please just be truthful.

For all you bleeding hearts that say the developer owes you nothing ect. ----
We owe him nothing too !

we are well aware, writing like this won't make the devs update Cent the next day, we either sit and wait or just jump to the next project

I just hope developers are ok and well with all this covid stuff. I wish them best of luck regardless of Cent's fate. It really enjoyed using it.
Sure it would be nice to hear some official news or updates. Then again i know how life can be, how passion ends and dreams fade away. Or how something comes into your life and sweeps you away completly, like child birth for ex.
Lets all be civil, there is no need for some hursh words i read here.

After a huge amount of shit poured out on the developer, I think that the right decision is to send everything to hell and stop communicating with this moronic herd who dirtied the forum.
