Of course. Maybe new-style notifications don't appear in portable version because CentBrowser icon is absent in Notifications & Actions menu, as middle said above? Maybe something is missing in windows registry?

Is it possible to make newstyle notifications work in the portable version without storing them in (AppData\Local\CentBrowser)?

Я так понимаю, на всех портабл браузерах только старые пуш-уведомления работают, независимо от директории, а для новых нужен установщик браузера.

You are right, the application needs to register in Windows Notification Center, this is done during browser installation.
So portable version has no native notification.
