slow tab closing?

sometimes at work I notice a lag in tab closing,
I mean it takes a bit till the tab disappears completely from the screen,
could it related to hardware acceleration?

my graphics card is intel® hd graphics and I read your post in another thread that 
hardware acceleration doesn't make any difference on a bit older machines or 
machines with embedded graphics card

anyway, I disabled it and I think there's some improvement

What is your RAM usage?
And you may try changing "chrome://flags/#enable-fast-unload" to "Enabled".

yes, "chrome://flags/#enable-fast-unload" is set to "Enabled",
also my ram usage is normal/fine
