Desktop icons rearranged
#1
This is a weird one and one I haven't seen before.
This morning when I started Cent, immediately after the home page is loaded my desktop icons are rearranged and all moved to the left-hand side.  I assumed this was a Windows one-off quirk.
I have a utility that restores the desktop so I used that and everything looked fine.
Until I started Cent again and it did the same thing, all the desktop icons moved to the left.

So I closed Cent and restored my desktop.
I then started Internet Explorer 11, no problem.
I started Firefox, no problem.
I started Chrome, no problem.
I started Cent, desktop was screwed up,  which is very annoying.
I haven't updated Cent recently.

Has anybody any idea what this could be?
Thanks.

EDIT:
Sorry forgot to say:
Cent Version 3.7.2.33 (Official Build) (64-bit) (Chromium 70.0.3538.110)
Windows 7 Home Premium

When googling I found some users suggested it was the Auto Arrange icons Desktop option that must be set.
I looked at this and it wasn't set,  never has been.
However, just for fun I set it to Auto Arrange and it moved everything to the left, as stated earlier (without setting the option).
I unset the option and restored the desktop and tried starting Cent and unbelievably the icons did NOT move to the left.
I have no idea why but for now at least,  the problem has disappeared (famous last words).
If it returns I will add to this post.

Have you created multiple profiles in the browser?
In my memory this may be a bug of Chromium 70.

No, I've never set multiple profiles.

After booting the PC this morning all the desktop icons were moved to the left.  Confused Angry
It was fine when I booted down last night.
This was before I'd even started Cent or anything else.
So, it may not be anything to do with Cent although after the desktop is restored Cent seems to be the only program that, after loading, messes up the desktop.
Weird!

Yet another option that seems to work for now.
Right-click desktop and click Refresh.
After doing this Cent did not screw up the desktop.

EDIT:
Icons were still correct after rebooting.

Should be a flaw of Chromium 70.
Thanks for the info.

FWIW:
It's been OK for nearly a week now. I always shutdown and night and reboot in the morning.
But after booting this morning all desktop icons had moved to the left again.
I restored the desktop.
Loaded Firefox, desktop OK, close Firefox desktop OK.
Loaded Cent, desktop screwed up again.  Angry

This may be fixed after we upgrade to Chromium 71.

After all this time I thought I'd seen the last of this but...
I'm using Version 3.8.5.69 (Official Build) (64-bit) (Chromium 71.0.3578.98) and on rebooting my desktop yesterday icons were scrambled again to the left side of the screen.
I restored the desktop icons.
Loaded Firefox, all OK.
Loaded Cent, all OK.
This morning icons were messed up again.
I can see no pattern to this at all.
