Show bookmark button not working on cent 3.6.8.58

Hey CentBrowser,

I am using the latest Cent Browser version 3.6.8.58, and bookmark bars cannot be hidden, at least for me. The problem I have is that the "Show Bookmark Bar" option isn't able to be toggled. (i.e., the Show bookmarks bar as shown below, it is checked, but I can't uncheck it to not show the bookmark toolbar for some reason). I don't have this problem in regular Google Chrome.

Whether this is just an issue on my own computer or it's a Cent Browser bug, issue, I do not know.

Hi,

Do you mean you can't click "Hide bookmarks bar" ? Would be a strange bug.
BTW You can't "uncheck" "Show Bookmarks bar", you have to choose between three states : show, hide, auto-hide. You can also do this in options (Favorites > Status of the toolbar)

no problem here (but I'm using the latest official revision 3.6.8.94)

ok thank you for explanation, hide bookmark bar open is doing fine, i saw the hide bookmarks bar text but for some reason i didn't venture to click it, but now that i've done that I see it does what i wanted (and what it's supposed to do)

If 3.6.8.94 isn't a beta, then the centbrowser.com homepage needs to be updated to it.

NEW Question: how do you hide the bookmark bar when you open a new tab page (whether it's a new multilogin tab, a new incognito tab, a new window or whatever)? Hide bookmark page works fine with regular tabs but when you switch to a new tab, you see the bar there though. Just wondering...

This is controlled by another option:
"Bookmarks"->"Display embedded bookmarks in new tab when bookmarks bar is hidden"
