I tried many browsers and settled on the Vivaldi, a very worthy product, I advise you to try it.

those are my stumbling blocks in transition also.i have not found an extension that mimicks these options either. vivaldi is the clsosest, but i still cant get it to open typed addresses in new tabs by defualt  while maintaining default behavior for url links to be same tab. any suggestions are appreciated.

In general, I picked up, like, a worthy replacement .. Switched to Maxthon. From which I left a long time ago .. It seems to me that working with tabs, managing mouse gestures and displaying favorites on the entire window has remained at the same level. I recommend to familiarize))

yes, I tried vivaldi and that was the thing that kept annoying me. And I also miss the quick google profile switching, but I read that feature is also removed from newer chromium based browsers.
The quest continues...  Undecided

Vivaldi has been around for six years, but I can't help but get the feeling that it's forever stuck in beta test. The developers got carried away with the development of the sidebar and some unthinkable groupings of tabs, completely ignoring the simple everyday needs of users.

You can't please everyone in one browser. I now use Vivaldi instead of Cent, and I like it.

I can say that I do the same. I've tried Catsxp copycat of brave, but soon gave up because it didn't have a proper mobile.
I've changed for Firefox, but the mobile royally suck, don't know if the mobile web designers don't do the work for non-chromium browsers but nothing work properly on firefox mobile, even if the extensions and background playback+ublock+Violentmonkey are awesome.

Since changing to Vivaldi my tab options are fine, extensions and sync work like charm, I did the import without any problems and there's a sync workaround for the mobile vivaldi and regular chrome, Google autofill works like a charm on vivaldi mobile, so you can mantain a sync with Vivaldi mobile and your google account, even if you can't mantain it on Desktop but it already helps a lot.

TL;DR there isn't a alternative to Cent without give ups but a after Year+ without updates we need to let some things go to have proper working sites and security. The devs don't really care for us users as much as they care for their code so we can't really reach them and they won't update the browser just because we asked so.

Please choose what suck less and do your workarounds for the things you need, like the Font extensions that the earlier user talked about.
