Whether to autoplay may be decided by Chromium core.
Please compare with Chrome 72, you may not be able to block autoplay.

You have to upload your local image to your own website OR an image hosting site first. I like to use tinypic.com for that.
Upload your image to tinypic.com (
http://tinypic.com/?t=postupload) image hosting site and once you upload you can get your image over here in one of the two ways:
1. there should be a group of box and one of the boxes should be labeled IMG Code for Forums & Message boards with an [img] styled link; copy and paste here and image should appear.
2. From the same group of boxes after uploading, there is also grab the direct link for layouts link and use it in the URL box for the insert and image option that you already know about. Both methods (1) and (2) should achieve the same result.
If you need pics to show you how to upload to tinypic, see here

This need another option to be added. Currently you may try this:

Device scale factor is a really hacky solution. I'd be fine with that, but it also looks and behaves like a really hacky solution. Favicons and extension icons all look bad, hovers are glitchy, and some menus and dialogs aren't offset by zoom. It's not so much of a fix, as it is trading one issue for set of others.

You are right.
We need a better solution.

I don't like posting in this thread, but I'm not sure where it would be appropriate.
Because this version of Cent is based on chromium 71, can we presume that we are NOT affected by the recent bug announced by Google?
https://www.zdnet.com/article/google-rev...e-attacks/
It's seems to be stating there that the exploit was only generated by version 72.0.3626.121...so my guess is that cent browser is unaffected at this time.

I think it says that version -fixed- the problem, but not sure when it started....

Any version before 72.0.3626.121 will be vulnerable. Given the fact that Google is making a pretty big deal about it, saying the exploit was "under active attacks", it certainly would be wise to push an update ASAP.
