If you right click on a bookmark, a nice option in the appearing context menu is to "replace with current url"
It comes in very handy, except there is a 'bug' (maybe a feature?
) or unintended consequence.
If you perform that option, the bookmark name is also updated. I don't want my names updated (since I customize names to make good sense and very short on the bookmark bar!) so I am asking to only update the url for that bookmark.
Just allow the 'replace with current url' only do that - leave the bookmark name alone. thanks.....
