directwrite issues with 4.2.9.152

The only adjustment i do for clear type is to turn it off completely. I hate it, it only blurs everything.

So, my problems is this:
in older releases (up to 4.0.9.112) all i needed to do was to disable DirectWrite. And that's it, no other extensions and flags were necessary.
But now it doesn't work any more, disabling it still leaves fonts broken on many sites.

I'm attaching a quick comparison i just did with the last 3 portable versions: 4.0.9.112  vs  4.1.7.182  vs  4.2.9.152
DirectWrite is disabled for all of them, everything else is by default, with no extensions.

So please don't tell me that it's something on my system, it's clearly not.

I 'm far away from you. What 's going on, I don 't know. Look for options further yourself. I have good fonts on all versions.
