First thank you very much for the rapid reply.
I tried downloading from that same link with no success when I first posted. The download would appear to start but would eventually timeout and abort.
I tried again later in the day after I read your reply and this time the gods of the internet smiled upon me. It took a few minutes to start downloading after clicking the link but it did finally download. It took 1 hour 11 minutes to download 60.4MB with an average speed of 14KB/s. Don't know why it took so long to download that particular file.
Conversely, when I download the latest version from your homepage from this link,

The download starts immediately taking 31 seconds to download 76.1MB with an average speed of 2542KB/s. My guess is the archived versions have a speed limit set.
Anyway I'm glad you do have older versions available for download even at the slower speed for us with PCs running XP. I downloaded Cent because it supposedly is the only truly portable chromium browser.
I will install the portable and check where it writes it data and compare it with other chromium browsers on my XP machine.
