I have one question: here in my system chrome/cent starts hanging after it reaches ~7GB ram utilization, is there a way to increase this? I have 32gb

Are you using 32-bit browser?
If so you can try changing for 64-bit.
And you can try setting your virtual memory to fixed size(for example, set both "Initial size" and "Maximum size" to 10240)

I'm using x64, always had
My virtual memory is set since I installed the system to min 8gb - max 12gb
I'll try increasing the virtual memory and if doesn't improve I'll try disabling HW acceleration

These guys no longer answer emails. They say nothing because they have nothing to say. Most users have moved on to Edge. Being transparent and honest is not their thing. I think it is a cultural trait.

Of course it doesn't. If anything, it should spur the devs into action if they are planning to bring out an update, unless they want to lose all their users.

Every week that goes by is more Cent users moving onto other browsers, others will hang around in the hope of an update.

come on guys it's getting really pathetic. you know the devs are taking longer to update (they must have their reasons). it's a free project, they already said no external help and donations, so you either stick with Cent the way it is now or you are free to change for another browser, but asking for ETA's or saying "it's been so many months since the last update...." won't help. so STFU and wait for the devs update on their time and if don't update find another browser....
