This is a DirectWrite issue.
Chinese/Korean/Japanese characters may display abnormally when DW is disabled.

Is this due to changes in the Chromium code? Is it possible to fix it? Compare the work of scrolling tabs with the mouse wheel in these versions with a large number of tabs.
This is how it works in version 4.0.9.112:

I seem to understand the cause of your problem. Disable the option "Switch tabs by scrolling with the mouse wheel in the tab bar", try to scroll through the tabs, then scroll with it turned on. In both cases, scrolling will be but with different behavior.

Hello. Tell me, why in version 4.2.7.116 when you start the browser redrawn desktop icons. If you disable sync with Google, the icons are not redrawn.

This is a known Chromium 80 problem. Many Google Chrome Users also complain about this problem.

Any way to fix this without enabling DirectWrite? (Which is also odd, because my wife has DirectWrite off, too, but no issues.)

Thanks for the new update, it's now running chromium 80.0.3987.132, same as the latest versions of Chrome, Edge, Kinza ... etc. The two features I like most are 'Tab Options & Multiple Column Bookmarks' which could not be found in any other chromium-based browsers. If Cent browser could keep the update pace up with the other browsers, then I would definitely rate it as #1.

Excellent job, Cent team!

Made a video of scroll tab behavior.
1. This is how the tab switching function of the mouse wheel behaves in version 4.0.9.112.
Windows 7 x64, Cent Browser x64.

Reproduce it in yourself and see the difference.
This happens both on the installation version of the browser and on the portable one, with and without extensions, with a clean profile and not. What is the reason?
