Flash Player update error.
#1
Hi,

For the last few days I've been getting the following error when I check for updates:

Flash player update failed, error code is 10.

I've tried re-installing the browser but same problem. I'm running Windows 10 1607 (build 14393.576).

Anyone else getting this problem?

Code 10 means the flash player is already updated, you need to restart the browser.
You can check the 2.2.9.39 folder, is there a folder named PepperFlash_new?
When the browser starts next time, it will rename this folder to PepperFlash and load the plugin.
If not, please check your anti-virus software or it may be locked by something.

Thanks for your advice. I think the browser couldn't rename the PepperFlash folder because I installed it in the Program Files directory.
I did it manually and problem now solved.

Yes , "Program Files" directory needs Administrator privilege.
It is not recommended to install browser into that directory.
Or you can run the browser with Administrator privilege.
