Hi! (again, lol)
I've been having this issue since mid November 2024. At first I thought it was due to my laptop I was using from said time until now, as I had to use a rather old laptop, 4GB ram, barely any disk space, so I didn't think much of it when I kept getting the site errors (just watching YT for example and nothing else running and the site stops and it gives me "out of memory" sign).
But now I am on my regular laptop, fresh from repair and basically kind of starting anew, 32GB ram, over 500GB disk space left, but I still got the error, so I am assuming it may not be due to the laptop after all? But I am not certain, so I'd like to ask if there is perhaps any fix to this. I did not encounter this issue before November (on my regular laptop, not sure about the old one as it was not in active use much before then) and I think I did have it updated to latest Cent version even then, so I don't understand why suddenly I am getting these errors as nothing else has changed? I still use the same wi-fi and never had issues prior with it, if that may cause the error.
My old laptop is Win10, my regular laptop was Win10 before when no errors occured and is now Win11 (sadly, lol) with the errors, so I'm not sure if Win version can have anything to do with it?
Tysm in advance for any help!

Have you modified the system virtual memory related settings?
If true, you can try restoring them to default.
And you can try disabling hardware acceleration, or follow this instruction.

I don't think I did anything regarding the virtual memory, especially as I was not even aware that is a thing and I don't think the repair shop would mess with that either? (Especially since it's been an issue on my old laptop I used as a replacement in the meantime as well.) The only thing that was changed was that the RAM upgraded from 8GB to 32GB (and HDD disk to SSD), if that could cause an issue?
As for the hardware acceleration, it's disabled already. It's been a day or two since the error, so hopefully it's fine now, but if not, I'll give the last tip a go! Thank you!
Also, I am not sure if this question fits here, since I don't know if it has anything to do with the browser itself, but I'll give it a try!
Since I got my laptop back, I've been having issues with Cloudflare captcha verifying on Cent (worked on Edge, as I've tried, but it's rather uncomfortable using different browser just to check a couple of sites). Is there anything I could try to fix this? I've tried clearing cookies and data, disabling extensions, Java is on - all the common fixes I've seen and tried, but they did not work, I've tried using data instead of wi-fi as well just in case.
Either I get an error or the captcha disappers and reappears unchecked again depending on the site. The sites I'm currently having issues with are ToyHou.se (error captcha) and steamdb.info (dis/reappearing captcha). The issue does not seem to be there on my old laptop (also Cent) or phone (Chrome), so I don't think it has to do with possible IP being marked as unsafe (or something along those lines)? But I'm unsure about that, as I'm not the only user of our wi-fi.

Cloudflare's verification mechanism is relatively complex and is related to many factors, including browser version, IP address, Cookies, etc.
But if incognito window of Chrome/Edge on your computer don't have issue, and incognito window of Cent Browser have issue, then it should be related to browser version.

Yeah, other browsers than Cent, on the same laptop, don't have a problem. It's rather curious though, since I have the same (latest) version of Cent on my normal laptop (which has issues with Cloudflare) and on my old one, which didn't seem to have issues with it. Perhaps I'll try rolling back to an older version of Cent on my normal laptop to see if that'd fix the issue. Thank you once again!

Alright, just to conclude this, I have found the solution to the Cloudflare issue! Previously I got recommended to turn off "Use hardware acceleration when available" for another of my issues that popped up after having my laptop repaired and reinstalling Cent. Seems like having that turned off messed up with Cloudflare verification, so I turned it on, signed in where I needed to and turned it back off so the other issue does not return. That worked for now, perhaps it will be useful to others who could have the same issue!

It's unexpected that this issue would be related to hardware acceleration.
