Dual Pane/Split View Tabs Feature Request - seanforde12 - 10-13-2025
Are there any plans to integrate dual pane / split view / side by side tabs in future updates ?
This is one feature I've found extremely useful when trying out other browsers. I always come back to Cent but this would be a nice addition in my opinion. If it could be activated with a mouse gesture(super drag) as well would be a great icing on top.

In theory, it will be supported in future updates, as it is actually an experimental feature introduced starting from Chromium 138. In browsers higher than Chromium 138, it can be enabled via the chrome://flags/#side-by-side flag.

Any idea when the next Cent update is coming or if that update would be at least chromium 138?

We will consider upgrading the Chromium version to 138 to support this feature.

I know these things take some time especially for a small team, but any chance of a timeline for this?
