You can change it with Header Editor extension.

But it is not recommended, you can just wait some days for our stable version or keep using Chrome for Twitch.

Do you mean "scroll the tabs" or "scroll the tab bar"?
Even this option is disabled, the tab bar still can be scrolled with mouse wheel.

Have you tested in safe mode of the browser?
Or have you disabled DirectWrite in normal mode?
