Will there be a split screen in this release like in vivaldi and edge?

Unsure, if this was answer for me, but this is not look like what I search. I don't need Win7/XP support, I use modern OS'es. I just need a way to use old, but good and crisp GDI drawing instead that crappy, blurry directwrite engine.

You won't find any. There's only Cent who managed to fix the skewed text position. But if this doesn't bothers you, there are a few other options available, like GDIChromium, Supermium, CatsXP (but it has an ugly font embedded in resources and disabling DW would make it completely unreadable, but you can use chrome-pak-customizer to remove and repack it) and a few other. But none of these ever bothered to fix the text position.

Don't sure if font issues will bother me, need to look deeper. Thanks for directing to Supermium, this is looks promising.

Anyway, still hope for continuing Cent's development, it's hands down the best .

It appears thorium-win7 now also has an option to disable DW, but it still has the same texts issue and I doubt they will ever fix it. It really sucks when the text parts are cropped and missing centered text that breaks layouts in places. Maybe it works better with Mactype tho.
Cent's dev made his magic no one's able to repeat.  Sleepy

They are using patched binaries that replaces missing kernel functions and adds modified libs for replacement, that's an interesting solution, but it's completely unstable. Wasn't able to run it, it crashes randomly.

CentBrowser, will you be updating your browser? Vaughn, the "Checker Plus for Gmail" extension already requires a newer engine. They promised to release a new version last year..... Where is it?
