Catsxp's latest version (Kernel: 96.0.4664.71) added a new feature to allow multi-column bookmarks display, now I got all the favourite features I needed. Just set it to be my default browser.

errors when trying to login in some sites here too,
when these happen I switch to edge and they work fine

Disabled by default in firefox. It has its own font rendering.

As I had said earlier, there are a number of new chrome extensions that provide font rendering and the effects are quite impressive. Disabling DirectWrite is no longer a 'must' feature. With less dependence on DirectWrite disabling, you will have a wider choice of more updated browsers.
