For those interested in GDIChromium, here's an update, the current state of the mod is unstable, some quite hard to solve issues have arised and require more work, for those who have knowledge in Chromium development and interest in helping, can come forward and private message me

We will still welcome any patches contributed by Centbrowser to ease up the development for that feature, thank you

Hi!
I have come up to this and I think this is a reason why Centbrowser doesn't update.

https://chromeunboxed.com/google-chrome-private-api-chrome-sync-accident

https://www.businessinsider.in/tech/news/google-to-remove-sync-support-from-3rd-party-chromium-browsers/articleshow/80311592.cms

And that's a reason to go to Chrome or leave google once for all!!!

What do you think?

If it's a reason, I'd make a guess that it's a relatively small issue compared to everything else. But as usual, the devs are tight lipped and we'll probably never know.

What is perhaps more worrying is we're now 8 major versions behind and there's been a lot of changes to Chromium within those 8 versions. The number of changes needed to Cent's code, testing, and fixing to get it up to version 94, for example, must be a massive undertaking. I'm beginning to think the devs have left themselves too much to do and just don't have the available resources/time/ability to do something like that.

People have told them to accept volunteers for years now, but they refuse.

I know, that is the worrying part, they won't accept help but the amount of work required to get Cent even halfway up to date must be massive by now. The more each new Chromium version diverges from version 86 code, the harder it's going to be to update it. This new Chromium update schedule of every four weeks is just going to make things even worse.

They're going to have to accept help or die, and if they choose not to, I'm really wondering what they have hidden in the code.

RE: STABLE version -- 4.3.9.248 - aris - 09-30-2021

Hi guys.
I just came to say goodbye! It was a nice trip (almost 4 years I think so), with a lot of suspense!
I am already at vivaldi (that is my choice for now) and maybe I am going to leave google for good! Sync etc...
Something is really wrong with the net right now. Old opera with a 12MB setup file (including mail) was working very well and it was a great program.
Now with these huge setup files (almost 100MB) nobody knows what exactly these programs do!

So, its time to go on!
See you later aligators!
Have fun!!!

that's just trading one evil for another, company-wise...anyway.

I don't mind if they start releasing 87-based stuff now.
It's a lot 'better' than no update.
I'm talking to the developers.
