Some updates are relatively easy to follow up.
But surely this is part of the problem as every update you don't release a new version increases the workload for the next version. Now we're 5+ versions behind and that's 5+ versions of changes that have to be worked through.
With people like Microsoft now contributing to Chromium code and making thousands of changes, surely the easily updatable versions are becoming less common which is why we've only had a couple of Cent updates in over a year. And it could only get worse if more devs get involved or there's loads more changes or new options/features added to Chromium in the coming months.

Exactly, and it'll probably be end of October and then they will say something along the lines of "by the end of November" and then "by the end of December" and then it'll be "sometime next year"

i need foldable group tabs or something similar.
vivaldi is always too buggy, yandex and opera doesn't have tab groups..

That option is now built into Chromium/Chrome so should also appear in most other Chromium based browsers when they are updated:
