We will consider sharing the DirectWrite patch to you.

I ask you to make it clear whether you are developing this browser or abandoning this project, I think we deserve the words of truth.

We're, what. Six behind? Extensions are going to stop working on Cent soon. So while it works "fine" at this second, it won't for long. As well, this means any patched security holes are open and leave your computer and information vulnerable.

Honestly, this has already started happening for several extensions I use :/ They're not completely broken but they either have features that are broken, or they are super far behind in updates due to not being able to update since they require higher versions of chrome.

Honestly makes me sad how far cent browser has fallen from being a chromium-based browser that I would recommend, to one I can just no longer recommend anymore due to how long updates take anymore.

I'm literally only using it until I find another decent browser that allows me to disable DirectWrite because I cannot use anything with it enabled.

I'm gonna agree with that. We deserve to know whether the browser is still developed or not.

I'd say 99% of Cent's users are like that.
I couldn't care less about all other "features", vanilla Chrome + a way to disable DirectWrite is all i need.

I totally agree with you.

More to the point, regardless of the project's progress, I want the source code to be public, and I think it should be.

I don't think it needs to necessarily follow google's rapid release,
but it's a problem when extensions stop working.
but this browser has some features that chrome should have,
such as minimum tab width, tab list menu, download list manager, always open in the background, new tab location, and behavior when closed, etc.

As such, this browser should be a foundation for other browsers
this browser can be the basis for other browsers
and an alternative to chromium.
