4.2.9.152: Flash Player and Login AutoFill not working like before - soyabeaner - 04-21-2020 After I updated to the latest version I can no longer load SWF (flash) files by dragging and pasting into Cent. There are some settings I can't change on my work PC due to "Managed By Your Organization" restriction. The other issue is more of an annoyance: website login pages no longer automatically populate the username and password when there are multiple logins saved. This requires me to click in the Username to open the drop-down and then select the one each time. Is there a way to default to the first one on the list or set a default login? Is this due to new Chromium? If so, leave it to Google for screwing things up . RE: 4.2.9.152: Flash Player and Login AutoFill not working like before - Admini - 04-22-2020 First issue: Have you installed Flash player? You can view it in chrome://version/ If you have not installed, you can download from https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ Second issue: Is the login page "http" based? Now the auto fill will only work for "https", this was brought in by Chromium. For the portable version, it could have been left. I've been using the 64 Bit Portable version of Cent. The updated version doesn't have the \Cent Browser\4.2.9.152\PepperFlash folder with the "manifest.json" and "pepflashplayer.dll" files, so I moved them over from \Cent Browser\4.0.9.112, but still doesn't load flash content. Login is indeed http because these are local intranet sets at work. Nothing can be done then due to Google's annoying decision. Update: Not sure on this, but I think the problem could be because my work PC has 32-Bit Flash Player installed (on 64-bit Windows), but I may have remembered wrong on the Cent version (i.e. should have updated using 32 bit instead of 64 bit). Problem is I can't tell which version of Cent is installed and I can't access Task Manager due to work restrictions. RE: 4.2.9.152: Flash Player and Login AutoFill not working like before - soyabeaner - 04-23-2020 Thanks! That was it. I had no idea that it now requires to be manually added to the User Data folder. And "PepperFlash" directory should be under "User Data" directly, not "User Data\Default". RE: 4.2.9.152: Flash Player and Login AutoFill not working like before - mayford - 04-26-2020 No, I put it right. Without installing a flash plugin on your computer, this option will not work. RE: 4.2.9.152: Flash Player and Login AutoFill not working like before - soyabeaner - 04-26-2020 Even on the latest 4.2.10.171 it works for me on my work PC. downloaded and installed the latest Flash Player from http://static.centbrowser.com/FlashPlayerStandalone/, renamed the .dll file to pepflashplayer.dll, then moved pepflashplayer.dll and manifest.json to ....\Cent Browser\User Data\PepperFlash folder. Flash Player can be uninstalled afterwards. |
