An alternative to HTTPS everywhere - hemlok89 - 06-07-2019 Hello, can you implement something like HTTPS Everywhere extension? That extension is too heavy, uses too much RAM & does not work everytime. What I want is just a setting to force HTTPS on any unencrypted domain. RE: An alternative to HTTPS everywhere - Admini - 06-08-2019 Most websites are HTTPS today. So it is not necessary to use this kind of extension. If you want more private, you may try using a Socks5 proxy or VPN.(for example, SoftEther) RE: An alternative to HTTPS everywhere - giupviecnha - 06-10-2019 What is https used for? Encrypt your network connection, so anyone else between you and the server can't steal your sensitive data. RE: An alternative to HTTPS everywhere - CarlosRiv - 06-18-2019 I think encryption can help a lot in security. but I consider that the load of the Https sites are slower than the normal http RE: An alternative to HTTPS everywhere - Admini - 06-18-2019 (06-18-2019, 04:33 PM)CarlosRiv Wrote: I think encryption can help a lot in security. but I consider that the load of the Https sites are slower than the normal http Maybe slower, but very slightly. |
