[Bug] Autoscroling bug - v2.9.4.39 and newer - fashqakabgd - 11-18-2017 Since version 2.9.4.39 there is some strange bug when autoscrolling pages. RE: [Bug] Autoscroling bug - v2.9.4.39 and newer - Admini - 11-19-2017 Please try running the browser with safemode.bat(under the same directory with chrome.exe). If the issue persists, you can change chrome://flags/#smooth-scrolling to "Disabled" and test again. Thanks. After changing chrome://flags/#smooth-scrolling to "Disabled" the issue still exists. In safe mode problem does not occur but scrolling is not as smooth as in normal. I hope this issue will be resolved in future releases. RE: [Bug] Autoscroling bug - v2.9.4.39 and newer - jeffhere - 12-01-2017 I have noticed this too, only on some pages. I even compared 2 browsers side by side.... CentBrowser shows choppy/odd scroll.....Slimjet was still smooth: this was side by side. To me, it seems to happen in comments sections (altho the section is not a "live update" comment forum). Happening on: http://mynorthwest.com/832612/durkan/?show=comments#comments go to comments and open, if not already. I sort by "best". very choppy. Others sites are fine even if one or 2 are choppy....all in the same browser section.... bad enough that I can't really use Cent yet....this needs fixing. just went back to the example page and it was smooth now! ??? geez....autoscrolling, the scroll just changed itself from scrolling down, to scrolling up! something is not right. New day, new session (shut my pc down every evening),,,, Also tried a few flag settings but nothing has changed this issue. I tried running safemode.bat, but all my settings, sites, customizations are all gone....just like I loaded a new browser from scratch. So that makes it unusable to me. Only the autoscroll is messed up, all other mouse ops are ok. RE: [Bug] Autoscroling bug - v2.9.4.39 and newer - jeffhere - 12-03-2017 I did remove a service pertaining to my mouse (logitech m705) so will see if this changes anything. RE: [Bug] Autoscroling bug - v2.9.4.39 and newer - jeffhere - 12-04-2017 yes, could be....I removed the service and "so far" have not noticed the erratic auto scroll....need to keep trying as it did not happen all the time on every site! But so far, nothing odd today |
