Non-material UI? - ufuksarp - 07-22-2017 I can't seem to revert. Is there an option somewhere? Non-material UI was smaller and did occupy less space, looked smoother to my eyes. Isn't there an option to have it? Would be nice. P.S: My first post, sorry for the inconvenience. RE: Non-material UI? - Admini - 07-22-2017 There is a flag chrome://flags/#enable-md-settings for now. But we can't promise to keep Non-MD settings forever. (tabs, back, forward, reload, etc...) At least just an option to set the tab height would be great. Those parameters are hardcoded in Chromium. If we change them, we may need more time to catch up with Chromium update. RE: Non-material UI? - user_99 - 07-23-2017 We cannot stop the development of Chromium for material design. So why not start to use he new design now? If the Cent development team code something for old design it breaks maby some other things and it takes more time for new releases. RE: Non-material UI? - tetsu - 07-23-2017 Agree, the development team shouldn't fight this losing battle. For me, the faster new versions arrive, the better.
