Error while extensions install - jack - 05-28-2017

I can't install extensions from webstore. Using portable 32 bit. Safemode, versions 1.9.13.75 - 2.6.5.49.

If setting are: default downloader: built-in

Quote:"An error has occurred
Download canceled - reload, close"

If setting are: default downloader: built-in a crx file want to save on my drive

Have you tried safe mode?

RE: Error while extensions install - jack - 05-28-2017

Yes. Also versions from 1.9.13.75 to 2.6.5.49.
I disabled hosts file, and firewall too, no luck.

Tested and it worked here.
Please upgrade to 2.6.5.52 and check the result.
May be just a network issue?

I found solution. Just deleted "clients2.google.com" in HOSTS file and clean browsing data.

Were you blocking Google servers?
If true you have to install extensions from local .crx files.

Here c:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\
Some weeks ago you posted these hosts file entires:

0.0.0.0 clients1.google.com
0.0.0.0 clients2.google.com
0.0.0.0 clients3.google.com
0.0.0.0 clients4.google.com
0.0.0.0 dl.google.com
0.0.0.0 dl-ssl.google.com
0.0.0.0 m.google.com
0.0.0.0 pack.google.com
0.0.0.0 safebrowsing-cache.google.com
0.0.0.0 safebrowsing.google.com
0.0.0.0 tools.google.com
0.0.0.0 mtalk.google.com
0.0.0.0 android.google.com

0.0.0.0 clients2.google.com This one is problematic if you want to install applications in webstore (I use 0.0.0.0 instead of 127.0.0.1)
