I turned it off/on in both Cent and Chrome, no change.
Safe mode in Cent feels like it makes the mouse more responsive, but I can't use it all the time(.

I'd like to understand the reason for the change in mouse feel, how the mouse feels so light in regular Chrome, but in Cent it feels heavier.
If there is no problem in safe mode, the problem may be some extension or hardware acceleration.
You can also try upgrading the hardware drivers firstly.

So I asked if it was possible to use the best practices of this browser to improve speed.
After all, in terms of convenience, Cent is still the best
Thanks for your support.

Changing compilation parameters can indeed affect performance, but sometimes there may be side effects.
Have you experienced any stability issues in Thorium?

Thorium is faster than cent, but only because it has not been updated for a long time (102 vs 117).
Thorium is faster than stock chromium, but slower than any popular browser (chrome, opera, edge)

the speedometer just reproduces the same repeated actions with the DOM, check other tests as well
but these tests must be checked on new chromium engine
and you are checking old cent vs browsers that have new engines, with new Javascript standards, this is not correct

for example, in some moments the cent is better, and in some moments it’s supermium on the 117 engine
cent 102

supermium 118 (By the way, 119 has already been released 1 hour ago)

Who is talking about superium, we are talking about thorium. Read the topic carefully.
In any tests, cent is slower than others today, with the exception of basic chromium. The engine has not been updated for too long.
Of course, after the update, it will take the place of fast browsers. I hope that's the case.

There is nothing strange. The test shows the performance depending on your hardware.

Convenience and customizability are important to me in Cent. What do these speedometers affect - YouTube videos with a lower resolution or you are going to run Cyberpunk 2077 in the browser and the frame rate is not enough? Let's not load the developer with unnecessary nonsense.

Is the stock chromium official build?
Intuitively stock chromium should be the fastest because it is the least bloated.

Yes, I downloaded it from here: Chromium
