You can also try upgrading the hardware drivers firstly. Thorium is faster than stock chromium, but slower than any popular browser (chrome, opera, edge) RE: STABLE version -- 5.0.1002.354 - QZMTCH - 12-03-2023 (12-03-2023, 05:23 AM)lokosta Wrote: Thorium is faster than cent, but only because it has not been updated for a long time (102 vs 117).https://chromium.woolyss.com/#browser-benchmark the speedometer just reproduces the same repeated actions with the DOM, check other tests as well but these tests must be checked on new chromium engine and you are checking old cent vs browsers that have new engines, with new Javascript standards, this is not correct for example, in some moments the cent is better, and in some moments it’s supermium on the 117 engine cent 102 https://i.imgur.com/zr9XXCm.png supermium 118 (By the way, 119 has already been released 1 hour ago) https://i.imgur.com/KGp9teh.png RE: STABLE version -- 5.0.1002.354 - Maximus Panin - 12-03-2023 (12-03-2023, 05:23 AM)lokosta Wrote: Strange test. iPhone 14 Pro Max RE: STABLE version -- 5.0.1002.354 - lokosta - 12-04-2023 (12-03-2023, 05:10 PM)QZMTCH Wrote: https://chromium.woolyss.com/#browser-benchmark Who is talking about superium, we are talking about thorium. Read the topic carefully. In any tests, cent is slower than others today, with the exception of basic chromium. The engine has not been updated for too long. Of course, after the update, it will take the place of fast browsers. I hope that's the case. (12-03-2023, 10:33 PM)Maximus Panin Wrote: Strange test. iPhone 14 Pro Max There is nothing strange. The test shows the performance depending on your hardware. RE: STABLE version -- 5.0.1002.354 - sefiqin - 12-04-2023 Convenience and customizability are important to me in Cent. What do these speedometers affect - YouTube videos with a lower resolution or you are going to run Cyberpunk 2077 in the browser and the frame rate is not enough? Let's not load the developer with unnecessary nonsense. Intuitively stock chromium should be the fastest because it is the least bloated.
