Unfortunately, this version did cut off my search engines (the "Web Data") file. There were many personal search engines in this file. I think, this heavy file overwhemed to new build. Now I will have to do it all over again. Of course I know that I need to get a backup before installing the beta version. My mistake. I would advise you to take a backup of your profile folder files beforehand if you are going to try the (every) beta (or new) version. * Anyway, since version 2.3/4 continues a issue: Most of the time the keyboard accelators (like CTRL F/T) wprks only second or third pressed. I think this issue related to omnibar/addresses bar. While it is happening in Win10, no problem in win7. I'm not sure yet though. I will try on SafeMode or new another profile folder. But we have tested overwriting 2.4 with 2.5 beta on several computers, User Data is untouched. Please check the creation time of the Web Data file, was it created just at the time you were installing 2.5 beta? Generally Chromium/Cent will not delete any files in User Data without user confirm, is it possible the file was deleted by your anti-virus or etc? And was your Google account logged on when installing 2.5 beta? RE: Cent Browser 2.4.2.19(for Windows) Released - pureocean - 03-21-2017 @CentBrowser: Thank you for your reply. No really need sorry. My Web Data (196.608 byte) file's informations Creation date: 16.08.2016 06:21 Last Access: 16.08.2016 08:29 Last Written: 21.03.2017 23:04 (now) No Google account logging. I don't use anti-virus softwares . I guess this issue just came to me and that was it. I ask you not to waste your time in vain. As the phrase goes, every cloud has a silver lining. Because of I already wanted to set up/update/reorganize the my search engine file. There were a lot of unnecessary records (Of course, they are all added before the --cb-disable-auto-detect-search-provider). Before I mentioned in here slowness of settings UI of standart Chromium. Now, the "Web Data" (SQLite Format 3) file is empty, so it's adding new search engines to the list is fast. That's what I meant: If the more recordings the Web Data file contained, the window's response time dramatically decreases when any adding or updating on SearchEngines settings window. Despite Cent completely installed to SSD partition. (My PC info: AMD Phenom II X4, 4 GB DDR2-RAM, Win10-64bit). * Other issue: I right now writing when SafeMode ("User Data(SafeMode)" profile folder). The first time I pressed CTRL T, Cent doesn't open a new tab. New tab opens after only two-three pressed. CTRL F, too. I just couldn't understand what triggered this problem. If I can solved this issue, I will inform about that. P.S.: I will be post a few new my suggestions. Hope to see you again. You can follow this instruction: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/970920/using-process-explorer-to-list-dlls-running-under-the-outlook.exe-process I guess this issue was caused by your input method, or other software which installed keyboard hook. By the way, there is indeed some changes in Chromium 57 regarding search engine. Auto-detected HTTP(non secure) search engines will be deleted automatically by Chromium, HTTPS search engines and manually added search engines(including HTTP ones) are not affected. And some restriction was also added to the default search engine.
