That can't be right, right? No wonder google drive and such won't load. Chrome 52 was a while ago.
No problem here. My UA shows up as
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/102.0.0.0 Safari/537.36

Just checked it through https://duckduckgo.com/ and https://www.whatismybrowser.com/detect/what-is-my-user-agent/
Running Win11 22H2, Cent v5.0.1002.295

RE: BETA version -- 5.0.1002.182 - LuckyJim - 12-31-2022

I noticed that Cent v5.0.1002.295 available for download now is different from the same v5.0.1002.295 when @QZMTCH posted the link (12.29.22). Chrome.exe now is around 400 KB smaller in the portable version. Haven't tried the installs yet. Maybe it's worth downloading and installing the "new" v295.

Happy holidays, mates!
Cheers!

Also, in (chrome://settings/cbTabOptions), there is another entry: "When middle clicking on tab" option , and you can can set it to close tab with the drop down selector next to that entry.

So basically, in (chrome://settings/cbTabOptions), if you have both options set as shown in screencapture below, you can have both functionalities active at same time, which I believe is what you wanted: to be able to close tab on middle click of that specific tab, and also to unpin/pin active tab when middle click on tab bar.
