A few years later .. wrong LDB, some people use several browsers. My main browser now is Opera and I added CB a few months ago, and like you I searched in vain after some Videodownloader for CB. Will test the one from GFYCAT later for use in CB.

But have you ever tried the AVG browser. It has a built in videodownloader that even today records YT video's flawlessely. Allthough lately the downloader gets corrupted.
Watch this screenshot of YT on AVG. You even get a free invitation to DL if you scroll upwards.

You can use youtube-dl to download most videos on the internet.

I found and downloaded it already before my previous post thanks to the link posted in this thread some time ago. Just have to install it one of these days and see how it works.

Can you provide the URL of the video?
It should work on Youtube, you need to wait for the dialog label to become green "Download complete".

Any video, downloads, turns green, but does not open in PotPlayer.. maybe because I have Windows 7... and fuck it !

4K Downloader (second link) for some reason I have a slow download.
I found two more programs (download well) :

Is the downloaded files size normal?
Have you installed the codec of PotPlayer?

Yes, the file size is normal.
Yes, it was in the player, I downloaded a fresh one - it works.

I will still use third-party programs, because:
Much faster download speed
Only audio can be downloaded
You can choose the quality
YT-downloader has a floating window - you can quickly download a bunch of videos
Etc..
