We have not reproduced it yet.

I'm able to reproduce the text rendering problem on a Win7 x86 virtual machine downloaded from Microsoft (I'm using IE8 ver but I don't think the version of IE matters)

Maybe that could help?

I'm using these sites and a clean 3.6.8.96 portable x86 version to replicate the problem:
https://reactjs.org/tutorial/tutorial.html
https://autohotkey.com/docs/commands/GuiControl.htm
https://autohotkey.com/docs/commands/Gui.htm
https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/87742-simpleping-successor-of-ping/
https://subscribe.ru/archive/comp.prog.assembler/201810/10181802.html/

My test steps (on the Win7 virtual machine): unzip and launch the 3.6.8.96 portable x86 version, Disable DW and restart, open all sites above and wait for them to all finish loading. Then start switching tabs and texts start to disappear.

I have same issue as m53aal. Win 7 x64 CentBrowser 3.6.8.96/3.6.8.99. Only version  3.4.3.39 x64 works properly.

Hello. You can repeat test in old windows 10 build, like a 1607 ? By the way, in fresh windows 10 (1803) i dont see this issue on my pc. In win 7 i see this issue.

peeps need to get off win 7 once and for all, 10 runs so much better and is designed to work on older hardware than 7.

Some of us don't have a choice e.g. If work dictates which OS you use.

chrome://flags page with DirectWrite flag set to Disabled (flag named "disable direct write" and maybe meaning is inverted?)

Does this problem appear immediately after launching the browser or after some time?

It happens after sometime. Especially if the tab is in the background then switching back to the tab. Sometimes the entire page crashes with "Aw Snap!"
