nope, of course not, because our chromium version is incompatible with them

Do you know where it is?

It is always disabled. Difference of the text can be compared with regular chrome version.

Already tried that before I brought this issue here. Hope we will see the new beta soon. Thanks again for your hard work.

Questions to the developer!

1. Why in the browser in task Manager in processes is chrome.exe and not cent.exe (windows 7 x64)? Why exe file is not named? Is this intentional? Why?
2. Why is chrome on cent's ftp servers, but it says that chromium is the basis for the browser? It's different!
3. Why doesn't Cent like it to have its default installation path changed? Being installed in the program Files folder (as well as x64 is necessary), it was doubled in "Programs by default". Now it is left or right? The reason for this behavior?
4. Cent has been a very long time to open (Windows 7 x64) What is the reason? What is the best way to clean Cent?
5. When is the new release expected? And what's new there will be done, not counting the transition to a new engine?

1. Can you give a screenshot? Because, on my Windows 10 PC, it shows CentBrowser in Task Manager. Here is a Screenshot?

2. Can you give the link? And yes Chromium is the base for most major browsers like Vivaldi, Opera & Brave, as well as Cent. Chrome is also based on Chromium. Chromium is open source but the resulting browsers are often not. Just like Cent.

3. Only Dev can answer that I think.

4. Long startup time might be due to your extensions. Try disabling your extensions & running Cent. Also try clearing browser cache & defragmenting you hard drive.

5. What do you mean by transition to a new engine?

RE: Cent Browser 3.9.2.45 Released - roman - 05-12-2019

1. Now Cent is not installed on the machine. In the Windows Task Manager on the "Processes" tab always appeared: the image name is chrome.exe (not a cent.exe), the description is CentBrowser.
2. http://static.centbrowser.com/ - there is chrome and not chromium.
3. Waiting for Dev's answer.
4. This is generally applied to a clean browser without extensions. The cache is cleaned. What programs or extensions are best suited for cleaning Cent?
5. Chromium 74.

5. Chromium 74.

1. It is intended, some third-party software recognize only chrome.exe, so we keep it unchanged to increase compatibility. And chrome.exe is also default file name of Chromium.
2. Users don't use Chromium directly, it lacks some components to work. And it enables many experimental features that may cause issue.
3. If the browser was installed to "Program Files" directory, there will be UAC dialog shown when it upgrades, because "Program Files" directory requires administrator privileges to write in. Nowadays many software use "AppData" as installation target instead of "Program Files".
4. Are you using 64-bit version? If so you may try 32-bit. And also try disabling hardware acceleration and disabling all extensions. For clearing browsing data, we recommend using built-in tool(Ctrl+Shift+Delete).

I saw that neither slimjet, another chromium based browser has been updated,
are there any issues for the update delay?

RE: Cent Browser 3.9.2.45 Released - roman - 05-14-2019

A lot of code has changed in the 74 version of Chromium. It takes a lot of time to rewrite the code.
