RE: STABLE version -- 4.3.9.248 - cb-user - 01-19-2021 Question to the developer. There is still an opinion that 32-bit versions of the browser are more stable and reliable in work. They continue to be recommended for installation even on 64-bit OS versions. What is your attitude to this? Is it so now? Is the 64-bit version of Center Browser working well enough now? Does it have any disadvantages? RE: STABLE version -- 4.3.9.248 - Admini - 01-19-2021 (01-18-2021, 08:13 PM)MrFry Wrote: Some sites say my Flash player is out of date. However there are still some users using 32-bit OS, and some downloaders supported in chrome://settings/downloads don't have 64-bit version. So for compatibility we still place 32-bit version as default. RE: STABLE version -- 4.3.9.248 - CodeMonkey - 01-19-2021 Hi Dev, When I run browser tests like the one found on http://www.speed-battle.com/ I get substantially lower "Store" scores when compared to other editions of Chromium. I average around a 1250 "overall score" when using Cent, and 1900 when using Brave, Dissenter, Un-googled, etc. Is there a particular reason for this lower overall score? I have been doing some digging but have not been able to find much regarding these metrics. I have ensured I'm on the same base build for each browser during testing as well. Is it because there are so many more features packed into the Cent browser, or something I am overlooking? Thanks! For me, 'virtually flawless'. I never compared memory usage, etc..but very stable, no crashes. RE: STABLE version -- 4.3.9.248 - Mugen - 01-21-2021 There seems to be u bug in the current version with disabled directwrite. On https://www.nvidia.de/Download/index.aspx?lang=en If i make a selection in "Product Series" the combo box jumps back to it's first entry. I tried to keep testing consistent. Each browser tested was on base build number 86.0.4240.198. Now I'm not sure what is being measured by the "store" metric, but Cent scores about two thirds of the score I get from other Chromium-based browsers. The calculate and render score was largely the same between each browser tested. RE: STABLE version -- 4.3.9.248 - dascratch - 01-22-2021 When i replace User_Data\PepperFlash\pepflashplayer.dll to another version it's regain with starting chrome.exe How can i test other builds of plugin? And what if we made ctrl button as modifier to block super drag effect. Then we could make that the ability to open multiple URLs was available not only from the clipboard, but also by dragging and dropping a set of selected elements from the current page to the top of a window. It would be much more useful than it is now. |
