I still don't understand the madness in the version numbers for Chrome and Firefox...

So number 2 means release candidate? Like it says here ? And it will not change soon 'cause you are constantly developing, right?
Sorry 4 offtop. Really
curious Smile

update So it would be 2.7.x.x ?  Cool

Yes, you are right. Take 2.6.5.52 as example,
2.6  -->  major version number, increase 0.1 for every upgrade.
5     -->  important/major changes.

52   -->  commits in git repository since last update.

I registered only to write that for so long you are updating the version? The browser is excellent, but for a very long time you update, all the others have updated their versions for a long time.

Thanks for your concern.
We should release an update in three days.

Just installed v2.7.4.41 beta. Can't remove Aliexpress and clixsense from new tab page. Looks like they are hard coded. Yes, I'm able to get rid of them but still that's a bit forced, don't you think? Would love to have the option to bring back the old new tab page just consisting of the search bar.

Will report, if any issues arise.

Hopefully the final version will be compiled with PGO.

For pinned(locked) items, you need to unpin them first.

This is due to a limitation of Visual Studio, so it is hard to overcome.
We will check visual studio 2017 in the nearby future.
