really hope for faster fix release as i'm in need to install vpn extention for normal web-usage and only portable Cent is suitable for me.

Well, if the user data location must be on %localappdata% then your portable version will be unusable. But it's not big deal if we move to other portability format, for example if I use portableapps format and take advantage from "directoriesmove" parameter then the extension installation issue will be solved.

For comparison purpose, this one is CentBrowser 2.6.5.39 (32-bit) on paf format.

If you uncheck "Ignore system dpi setting", is the font size normal?

Then you shouldn't use "Ignore system DPI setting".
All program should subject to system DPI in Windows.
In the past all browsers were using system DPI except Chrome, now Chrome also joined them.
