RE: Cent Browser 2.0.10.57(for Windows) Released - Alex_046 - 09-30-2016 Will be better if you wait for Final versions RE: Cent Browser 2.0.10.57(for Windows) Released - badablek - 09-30-2016 Hi CB team, I tried (quickly) the latest unofficial version (2.1.9.48) and I really hope that we will be able to disable that shitty #enable-extension-action-redesign With Chrome 53, by default, all extension's icons are in the menu or in the toolbar, this is stupid (I'm using extensions like smoothscrollerator, Youtube+, etc. and I don't care to see those icons...I should say I don't WANT to see it in the toolbar neither in the menu). On 2.1.9.48, I was unable to restore the only good behavior (the old one ! Only strictly necessary icons on the toolbar), even with all that stupid material design disabled. Hope you'll keep options to give users the CHOICE to use or not Material Design. Thanks for your understanding. ps : menus with material design are ugly IMHO RE: Cent Browser 2.0.10.57(for Windows) Released - Alex_046 - 09-30-2016 badablek, you can disable this Design with this chrome://flags/#top-chrome-md RE: Cent Browser 2.0.10.57(for Windows) Released - badablek - 09-30-2016 Thanks for the tips, I already knew that flag, but this does NOT disable icons in the toolbar/menu CB 2.1.9.48 (x64) with flag set to "other than material" : I really hope we will keep a way to fully disable that sh!t RE: Cent Browser 2.0.10.57(for Windows) Released - Journeyover - 09-30-2016 (09-30-2016, 04:44 PM)CentBrowser Wrote:Great thanks, now I can finally start using centbrowser again..(09-29-2016, 08:06 PM)Journeyover Wrote: This right here -- so damn annoyed now as I had to reinstall my OS last night and so I had to reinstall cent browser and low and behold I can't even install my extensions now because of the fact that half the extensions come up as incompatible since they require chrome 53+ and cent browser is still stuck on 52 -.- please update to chrome 53+... Just asking, thanks I see in this beta version, the icons of extensions are still to small and text is unreadable. It can not be fixed with that patch ? It can not be fixed with that patch ? Yes, that patch is used to slightly increase the font size of the badge text, not the whole icon size. I didn't knew that command line. BTW, is there a chance you add an option in CB parameters to fully disable material design ? It should be much better than a command-line (or the flag that doesn't work anymore). |
