Hidden extensions - zoso - 08-15-2016

Hello
I come from 7Star, a chinese release of Chromium, and i noticed a little bug.
I have a lot of extensions installed, but i dont like to have them all on display.
When i move the address bad to hide some of them, they just go away, now show a little dropdown box with where they are.

Can there something be done in this situation?

RE: Hidden extensions - Schanzation - 08-15-2016

I am wondering same thing. Would like a dropdown menu to decide witch extentions to hide there and wich ones to show.

PS: I dont mean "Hide this button" I use that for some extentions tho.

I suppose you are referring the "Show other extensions" button.
It is removed by Chromium team.
Now you can enable this flag(chrome://flags/#enable-extension-action-redesign) to hide them in the extensions panel(on top of the three dot menu).

It doesn't work.

You can drag them into the panel, or select "Hide in panel" in context menu of an extension.

Yes, I saw them there, is a little overkill.

That did show all my extentions and more. I want it too look like this: is that possible?

@Schanzation @zoso
I know your demand. We will have a look into it, and may restore it if it is not so complicated.

Same for me!
always show buttons of some extensions followed by a dropdown menu to quiclly see and acces the hidden buttons of the others.
(hope you understand my poor english?)
Because I need some buttons always showed (exemple: Download managers, Adblock, Translator.....) But (as I have a lot of extensions) I would like acces to the (hidden) others without to go to addons manager everytime.

I would like the same!
I have a lot of extensions so I only need a few "always showed" (like the addblocker or download managers...) but I would like quickly acces to the others without to go to the addon manager! So, a dropdown menu for the hidden buttons would be a great feature!
