Photo Show bookmark button not working on cent 3.6.8.58
Posted by: mc0134 - 10-25-2018, 11:20 PM - Forum: Bugs & Suggestions - Replies (5)

Hey CentBrowser,

I am using the latest Cent Browser version 3.6.8.58, and bookmark bars cannot be hidden, at least for me. The problem I have is that the "Show Bookmark Bar" option isn't able to be toggled. (i.e., the Show bookmarks bar as shown below, it is checked, but I can't uncheck it to not show the bookmark toolbar for some reason). I don't have this problem in regular Google Chrome.

Whether this is just an issue on my own computer or it's a Cent Browser bug, issue, I do not know.

Downloading Videos REGARDLESS Of What Google Wants
Posted by: LeftistDirtBag - 10-25-2018, 03:21 PM - Forum: Bugs & Suggestions - Replies (38)

i have not been overly amused that google went out of their way to shut down most if not all video downloaders, and thus all chrome based browsers have followed suite. that said there must be a way to for the install of one or install a unapproved video downloader.

Heart Faster bookmarking
Posted by: ProudCentUser - 10-24-2018, 07:04 PM - Forum: General Discuss - Replies (9)

Dear developers of this wonderful browser and forum users!

I have a long overdue question and I share it with you, in the hope that someone will help me.
As you know, Chromium browsers remember the last corresponding bookmark folder and store all the bookmarks in it. This folder changes on it's own quite frequently. And during bookmarking you have to select the right folder in the drop-down menu very frequently as well (or bookmarks start to turn into a mess). I'm tired of this chromium behaviour, although I have tried to get used to it for many years, honestly.

How to make Cent browser save all new bookmarks to "Other bookmarks" folder by default? Is there any way at all? I want to make my browser save bookmarks as it was in old versions of Firefox - always in the same folder (it was saving all bookmarks to the "Unsorted bookmarks" folder by default). Is it possible to make a specific browser setting "read only" or write some simple plugin? I'm not in the money right now, but I’m ready to present 10 dollars for a solution to any person that could help me. Sad

Thank you for your time!

  Home Button
Posted by: LeftistDirtBag - 10-22-2018, 05:24 PM - Forum: Bugs & Suggestions - Replies (7)

i've noticed since i've been using cent that if i click the home button cent opens a new tab with my home page instead of opening it in the current tab. is there anyway to have cent open my home page in the tab i'm on instead of opening a new tab? also i'd like to know if it's possible like with firefox to have multiple tabs open when i click the home button? in cent and firefox i have fvd speed dial and google set to launch when i open the browser, and in firefox if i just have one tab open and hit the home button both by home pages open in new tabs closing the tab i was in. thanks

Hi , it's been a while since Chromium 68 has been released and we didn't get it yet , actually Chromium 70 just released and we are still at Chromium 67 , there will be an update of Chromium 68 or later for CentBrowser soon?

Thanks in advance.

Is it safe to use Cent Browser instead of pure Chromium?
Posted by: harrykane140693 - 10-22-2018, 07:38 AM - Forum: General Discuss - Replies (1)

I see some info about additional telemetry in many chromium forks (The New Opera, SRWare Iron, etc). What about Cent Browser? What is their business model? I don't see open sources, and their site don't make me trust in their "absolutly none" telemetry policy. There is some tests or reviews of Cent Browser data leaks/telemetry/spying?
