Версия Cent 4.2.7.128 (x32), включен тёмный режим. chrome://flags/#enable-force-dark → Enable with selective inversion of non-image elements. 

При закрытии вкладок на долю секунды "моргает" белое окно. В версии 4.1.7.162 этого не было. Воспроизводится если открыть на странице несколько новых фоновых вкладок → выбрать последнюю из них → закрывать вкладки по очереди, пока не вернёшься к родительской вкладке. 

Мои настройки открытия вкладок:
Располагать новую вкладку: справа от группы вкладок
После закрытия вкладки: переключиться на вкладку справа

When closing tabs, a white window “blinks” for a split second. In Cent 4.1.7.162 all was fine. To reproduce: open several new background tabs on the page → select the last of them → close the tabs in turn, until you return to the parent tab. 

My settings for opening tabs:
Position for new tab: to the right of the tab group
After closing the tab: switch to the tab on the right

This is experimental feature, so it may be regressed before it become stable.
